Civic Society praises landmark refurbishment

Bradford Civic Society has praised the completion of work to convert the city’s former Conditioning House into high-quality homes.

The landmark building – situated close to the city centre – was derelict for many years. Speaking to the Bradford Telegraph and Argus, Bradford Civic Society said: “It’s very encouraging to see such a significant Bradford landmark given a new lease of life.
“Bradford Civic Society has expressed concern about the saturation of poor quality flat conversions in the city centre, so we particularly welcome the high standard of work on Conditioning House. Spacious homes and high quality craftsmanship should be the standard all conversions aspire to in Bradford. It’s the only way we’ll see the city centre reach its full potential.”
