The next calendar meeting of the Bradford Civic Society will take place on Tuesday 13 November 2018 from 7pm onwards.
Please note a new venue – the Bradford Mechanics’ Institute – which is on Kirkgate in Bradford city centre.
Following an update on Civic Society activities from the Chair, our guest speaker will be Dr David Pendleton, who will be talking about an interesting proposal to relocate the iconic statue of Titus Salt from Lister Park back to central Bradford.
All are welcome – including non-members – and entry is free. Refreshments will also be provided.
As an additional offer for the Civic Society, the Mechanics’ Institute will open their doors an hour early (from 6pm) to allow guests to enjoy their new exhibition, which tells the story of the forgotten ethnic minority soldiers who fought in World War One.
If you’re able to, please register here for the meeting so we can adequately cater for everyone, although you won’t need to print or show a ticket to attend.
