Bradford’s landmark City Hall celebrates its 150th anniversary this week (7 September) and is hosting a series of events to mark the occasion.
Bradford Civic Society has been pleased to donate a blue plaque to the building in honour of its 150th year, supported by Bradford Council. Highlights of the City Hall 150 celebrations include special tours of the building on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 September, talks, access to the Bradford Police museum, and a pop-up tea room.

As well as City Hall, St George’s Hall is also celebrating its own milestone anniversary of 175 years, and will be hosting an open day on Saturday 9 September.
