Bradford Civic Society is pleased to announce that the poster designed especially for our recent brutalism debate has been nominated for a top graphic design award.
“Save High Point / Raze High Point”, created for Bradford Civic Society by Smiths Workshop, has been nominated in The Drum Roses Creative Awards in the Poster Design category.
Emma Scott Robinson, chairperson of the judging panel and creative director at SapientRazorfish, said: “What I saw from the entries has been a return to pure, highly detailed, beautiful craft. As judges, we really enjoyed those entries that have that little bit of spark, that little bit of magic, those that have made us smile.”
Jimmy Smith, founder of Smiths Workshop, also created Bradford Civic Society’s new distinctive logo and brand identity.
We would like to wish Jimmy the very best of luck in the finals, and we thank him for the excellent creative contribution he’s made to Bradford Civic Society.
