First Civic Society meeting of 2018 to hear about museum’s future

The first meeting of Bradford Civic Society’s 2018 calendar will take place on Tuesday 16 January from 7pm at the Midland Hotel and will feature a guest speaker from Bradford’s acclaimed Peace Museum. Entry is free and all are welcome – including non-members.

The meeting will begin with a very brief update from the Chairman about recent civic society activity along with any matters arising from the last meeting. We then welcome Lauren Padgett, of Bradford Peace Museum, to talk us through the institution’s role in the life of the city, and their plans to expand beyond its current base.

We welcome everyone to come along, have a drink and join us for the evening, although we ask that non-members quickly register here for a free place so we can properly accommodate everyone.

Bradford Civic Society would like to wish everyone a very happy new year.

How to find the meeting:
The Midland Hotel is conveniently located next to Forster Square railway station and there is normally ample free parking on Cheapside. Alternatively we recommend the neighbouring Broadway car park (access from Hall Ings) where you can park for just £1 for the whole evening.
Our meetings are normally held in the Forster Suite of the Midland Hotel.
