The next all-member meeting of Bradford Civic Society takes place on Tuesday 12 March, from 7pm at the Mechanics’ Institute on Kirkgate. 

Our guests for the evening will be Alex Chisholm from Freedom Studios and Mary Dowson from BCB Radio, who will join us to chat about their plans for the Grade II-listed former Sunwin House department store.

Impressions Gallery, BCB Radio, and Freedom Studios are working together with East Street Arts and Yeme Architects to explore a new future for Sunwin House, as a home for arts and cultural organisations, a space for people to come, relax, meet, and get involved in a range of different activities. We’d love to hear from from Bradford people what they would like to have in the building and how it could be used.

Alex and Mary would like to use the meeting as an opportunity to hear feedback, ideas, and memories of Sunwin House.

All are welcome, including non-members, and refreshments will be served from 6.45pm.
